‘Traditional Coffee Mix’ – Ogygia | 150g
Traditional Gozitan Coffee Mix or ‘Kafe Msajjar’ is a spiced coffee that used to be purchased from the village or town grocery shop. It used to be mixed with water in a typical coffee pot ‘stanjata’ and cooked for half an hour or so. Once cooked and filtered, the coffee pot was placed on an old petroleum table-top stove ‘spiritiera’, on low heat, ready to be served.
