Description

Born in 1974 from a selection of Sangiovese, it is amongst the first wines which successfully face monovarietal Sangiovese. Grown on a typical clayey ground, rich in marl, called the Scanni vineyard, it is located at an altitude of 300 metres a.s.l., exposed to south-west, this wine is vinified in steel. After a maturing of about 18 months in 5hl French barrels, it ages for a year in glass.
