Castello di Monsanto | Chardonnay | 75clBorn in 1980 from a challenge of Fabrizio Bianchi to create a white wine of great character in an area which was not especially dedicated to it, this selection of Chardonnay from the Valdigallo vineyard, 3.50 hectares at an altitude of 260 metre a.s.l. exposed to the north-east, is vinified half in 5 hl French barrels and the other half in steel. It ages over two years in glass before the sale. Its great capacity to age makes it possible to enjoy its characteristics to the best after many years from the harvest.

Lallier |Cuvee R.015 | 75clAll about 2015 harvest R.015 is the reflection of a radiant year ! The vegetative cycle unfolded peacefully despite a few surprises. A classical winter without frost or pest pressure except for oïdium which was controlled ! As early as mid-May, a very hot and dry climate settled in right through to August (like in 2003, 1976 and 1951). This exceptional event was accentuated by significant daily temperature variations (coolness at night, intense heat at midday). Bud break took place mid-April and full bloom happened mid-June. But the great dryness brought concern at the start of the ripening period (7th August). The water deficiency level was a reminder of the years 1998, 1976, 1964, 1962 and 1959 with grapes showing symptoms of dryness ! It was unhoped-for, but finally downfalls of rain hit the vineyard for 2 weeks around 15th August. At last, the grape berries began to swell and Botrytis cinerea was ousted by the drop in temperatures. Everything fell back into place and the harvest began happily on the second week of September with perfect sanitary conditions. The year of all superlatives, worthy of a great vintage, with a promise of an extraordinary quality ! Grapes:39% chardonnay and 61% pinot noir€44.00Add to cart
Talisker Skye | 70clTasting notes:
Nose: Sweet stuff, toffees and vanilla ice cream up front, almost grain-like. Becomes increasingly honeyed. There's a little coastal influence here too, just hints of a sweet Caol Ila perhaps, with very restrained smoke.
Palate: Honeyed toasted oak, sappy wood, only a little pepper and smoke, apple turnovers and hints of lemon and lime Opal Fruits. Fennel seeds.
Finish: Drying and slightly less sweet, hints of spice and smoke.ABV: 45.8%€46.50Add to cart
Royal Lochnagar | 12 Year Old Game of Thrones House Baratheon | 70clA light amber colour of this single malt echoes the light and delicate aromas of this 12-year-old Royal Lochnagar. It starts with gentle oak aromas that develop into sweeter caramel tones with a fruity edge. When you taste it there are immediate sweet layers of vanilla and liquorice, which blend into a gentle finish of nutmeg and sweet pastries.ABV: 40%€48.00Add to cart
House Tully & Singleton of Glendullan Reserve | Game of Thrones | 70clThe light straw shimmer of this liquid hints at the cask lineage of this Single Malt that is 100% ex-Bourbon casks; that’s confirmed by the heavy Madagascar vanilla opening on the nose followed by a suggestion of sweet, clove spice that develops over time. On the palate it’s initially driven by orchard fruits like apple; the clove returns but now with cinnamon as the palate develops. The finish moves away from citrus into a red berry compote with vanilla cheesecake and a pronounced cereal spice finish. ABV: 40%€48.00Read more
