Lallier | Cuvee R.016 Brut | 75cl
All about 2015 harvest R.015 is the reflection of a radiant year ! The vegetative cycle unfolded peacefully despite a few surprises. A classical winter without frost or pest pressure except for oïdium which was controlled ! As early as mid-May, a very hot and dry climate settled in right through to August (like in 2003, 1976 and 1951). This exceptional event was accentuated by significant daily temperature variations (coolness at night, intense heat at midday). Bud break took place mid-April and full bloom happened mid-June. But the great dryness brought concern at the start of the ripening period (7th August). The water deficiency level was a reminder of the years 1998, 1976, 1964, 1962 and 1959 with grapes showing symptoms of dryness ! It was unhoped-for, but finally downfalls of rain hit the vineyard for 2 weeks around 15th August. At last, the grape berries began to swell and Botrytis cinerea was ousted by the drop in temperatures. Everything fell back into place and the harvest began happily on the second week of September with perfect sanitary conditions. The year of all superlatives, worthy of a great vintage, with a promise of an extraordinary quality ! Grapes:39% chardonnay and 61% pinot noir€54.00Add to cart -
Lallier | Millesime 2010
Grapes: 45% Chardonnay55% Pinot Noir Crus: Grands Crus from the Côtes des Blancs and pinots noirs from Aÿ and Verzenay Tasting: Without any reserve wine, without artifice, the 2010 Vintage properly reflects the 2010 harvest. The 2010 Vintage arrived after the very mature 2005 vintage which is now part of the Memory Collection with older LALLIER Vintages. The 2010 Vintage is fresher, more mineral. Even after more than six years of ageing, this wine offers notably elegant aromas, still with citrus and white flesh fruits notes mixed with more mature and deeper notes such as honey, wax and light roasting notes.
Its mouth is crisp and generous, well balanced and without any harshness thanks to its creamy foam. It pairs with all gourmet food especially with fish and scallops “à la plancha”, slightly creamy and spicy poultry; all sorts of cheeses; with rather fruity delicious desserts.€86.00Add to cart -
Lallier | Les Sous | Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs | 75cl
Grapes: 100% pinot noirCrus: Grands Crus from Aÿ-ChampagneAspect: A golden-yellow effervescence, a wink to the Champagne Diamond.Nose: Subtle notes of brioche and apricot which develop into scents of stewed fruits, forming a seductive range of aromas.Palate: Our cuvee LES SOUS comes across as a champagne with both structure and full body. It offers a great mouthfeel where characteristics of vinosity are balanced with breath of freshness. Hints of fresh bread will develop into savours of panettone loaves and dried fruits.LES SOUS sublimates savoury dishes with influence from the terroir. In line with the famous adage “the best things in life are the simplest”,Francis TRIBAUT suggests this wine paired with a terrine of rabbit and prunes or a sautéed mushroom dish. This single-vineyard cuvée takes us on the road to a unique terroir discovery and more particularly the one of pinot noir in the lands of Aÿ-Champagne.€97.00Add to cart
